This year, the fully automated RUTF peanut butter processing plant, constructed by GELGOOG, was successfully delivered and officially put into operation in Nigeria. A second production line is currently under construction.
This landmark project not only signifies the successful entry of my country's high-end food processing equipment into the core West African market but also demonstrates the technological responsibility of Chinese enterprises in global public health and humanitarian aid.
The production line is specifically designed to produce RUTF products that meet the standards of UNICEF and the World Food Programme (WFP), serving the rehabilitation treatment of severely malnourished children in the region. The successful implementation of the project fills the gap in Nigeria's independent production capacity of high-standard RUTF raw materials, providing sustainable supply chain support for the regional nutrition intervention system.

The client is a Nigerian social enterprise focused on public health, with long-term involvement in government and international nutrition improvement projects. With malnutrition becoming increasingly prominent in West Africa, the traditional reliance on imported RUTF products can no longer meet the rapidly growing demand, necessitating the establishment of a localized, standardized production base.
However, local challenges include unstable power supply, a hot and humid climate, and significant fluctuations in raw material quality. The client specifically requested the construction of an automated production line with high stability, low failure rate, and strong environmental adaptability. It must also ensure food safety, ease of operation, convenient maintenance, and long-term operation under local conditions.

To meet the needs of our Nigerian clients, our company offers a complete, customized automated RUTF peanut butter processing system, covering the entire process from raw material handling to finished product packaging:

The entire production line is designed to operate at a capacity of 500 kg per hour, ensuring continuous and stable operation to fully meet the supply needs of large-scale public welfare projects.
Since its trial operation, the RUTF peanut butter processing plant has been operating stably and has successfully delivered multiple batches of high-quality RUTF base materials. The production process is smooth and efficient, and the equipment performs reliably.
Currently, the product has been put into use in Nigeria's National Nutrition Program, beginning to benefit malnourished children under the age of five in the region and providing sustained momentum for regional nutrition intervention efforts.
